Orders
On our website, you can place an order to purchase a light following the onscreen prods after clicking on the item/s selected. You will have an opportunity to “Add to basket” whereby you will have the item displayed, the price, the quantity you would like to buy, the delivery Hermes fee and packaging and the total of the order due.
You may adjust the quantity or remove the product from your basket at this stage. Checking Out will prompt you to continue as a guest or Sign in if you’re already signed up. If you are new, you will need to complete your contact details and whether you wish to register for future orders for your convenience and agree to include your details in our customer database. A password set up is then required. If a separate delivery address is required you will need to complete this detail.
Orders you place and the payment of lights by you from Lighting Salvage Hunters may be subject to acceptance. We will not be liable to you or to anyone else in the circumstance of us not accepting your order or payment.
Where we accept your order, we will have a legal obligation to supply the goods to you when we accept your order with payment that complies with these Terms and Conditions.
Payment
By using a credit/debit card or PayPal to pay for orders, you confirm the card or Paypal account used belongs to you and that you have authorised use.
All credit/debit card payments will have to be validated by checks and authorisation by the issuer.
All PayPal payments are validated for authorisation by PayPal.
If the card issuer of the card or PayPal refuses to authorise your payment your order will not be accepted and we are not obliged to advise you of the reason for the rejection.
As a result of the payment mechanism being rejected, the goods not being delivered or provided is not our responsibility.
We are not responsible for any charges you may be charged by the issuer of the bank or PayPal as a result of us processing of your credit/debit card or PayPal payment.
Delivery
We deliver currently to addresses in the UK only (England, Wales & Scotland).
International deliveries can be arranged via request by emailing international@lightingsalvagehunters.co.uk.
We prefer to display a trustworthy price of our lights therefore delivery charges are per weight in the basket and packaging costs which is reflected in the check-out. Orders over £200 however have a free delivery – we’ll pick up the cost.
All prices include VAT
Your personal data is forwarded to the logistics company for the delivery shipment including your name or company name, your delivery address and your email address for working with tracking links etc.
Use of a trackable service ensures you are updated with a tracking reference. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirming the couriers consignment number.
A 5-day day, mainland delivery can be expected and a signature will be required on delivery.

Returns guidelines
You have 14 days to request a return by emailing enquiries@lightingsalvagehunters.co.uk
Repackage the light safely in the same box it was sent to you with the inner packaging, include the returns form completed in full and securely seal the package. We’ll send you a new returns form if you have misplaced it.
Any products modified within the 14 days of return request must be returned to the original purchase condition as we cannot refund items not in original condition or missing original parts.
Use a reputable courier to return your light as we can’t take responsibility if it’s damaged on the way back to us. Keep the couriers invoice or billing details as we’ll need that to possibly reimburse you.
If you decide to use your own packaging please ensure adequate inner and outer packaging is used and mark the outer packaging in writing FRAGILE or use a specialised FRAGILE label.

You will need to email us the details of the date and time of collection, Courier name, tracking or reference number for both parties to track the order back to our address - please email enquiries@lightingsalvagehunters.co.uk
Lights received damaged on the way to you - Please contact us within 24 hours by emailing enquiries@lightingsalvagehunters.co.uk
We will arrange for an urgent collection from you, observe the condition and arrange a substitute or a refund in full including the return costs you have incurred. Note your personal data is forwarded to the logistics company for the collection including your name or company name, your delivery address, your email address and your contact telephone or mobile number for working with collection and tracking links etc.
Refund payments
Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless we’re advised differently.
